SMS / Text Messaging Communications
DANG designs, Inc. offers SMS / text message communications to customers and prospects who have opted in by submitting our website contact form, signing a client agreement, or providing verbal consent during a phone call. Opt-in is always express and never assumed.
What we send: Non-marketing messages may include appointment confirmations, project status updates, scheduling changes, service-related notifications, and responses to your inquiries. With separate explicit consent, we may also send marketing messages including special offers, discounts, new service announcements, and event invitations.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity and engagement.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, you may opt in again through our website form or by contacting us directly.

Mobile information sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support of our services (such as SMS aggregators, our texting service provider, or CRM platforms) is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third parties for any other purpose, and are excluded from all other categories of data sharing described in this Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and other major U.S. carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Data Security
DANG designs, Inc. takes commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols, restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis among authorized employees and service providers, secure password practices, regular software and security updates on our hosting infrastructure, and use of reputable third-party service providers who maintain their own security and privacy standards. While we use industry best practices to safeguard your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
